In certain circumstances, Synance or its Clients may collect sensitive data, including biometric information (such as facial geometry for identity verification), voice or image data, or health-related information, where required for specific Projects and permitted by applicable law. Such data is collected only with your explicit consent, used solely for the stated purpose, and not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. We retain biometric data only as long as necessary for verification or the specific Project, or for a maximum of 3 years, whichever is shorter.

When you are matched with a Client Project, we share relevant profile information including your expertise, language skills, academic background, professional history, and work product. We do not share your personal contact details without your explicit consent. Clients may be required by applicable law or their compliance policies to retain or disclose certain information about their engagements with Trainers, and you authorize such disclosures.
We may share your information with affiliated entities, managed service partners, or data platforms operating within the Synance ecosystem for the purpose of fulfilling project matching, workforce management, and quality assurance services.
We use trusted third-party providers to operate our platform, including: Airtable (database management), Google Maps API (address validation), Cloudflare (hosting and security), background check vendors, and payment processors. All providers are contractually bound to process your data only on our behalf and in accordance with this Policy.
We may disclose your information to protect Synance's legal rights, prevent or detect fraud or crime, enforce our Terms of Service, or as required by applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information is subject to a materially different privacy policy.
Synance may develop and offer data analytics products and market intelligence services derived from activity on the Platform. These products are based exclusively on aggregated and anonymized data and are designed so that no individual can be identified.
Clients and third parties accessing Synance Analytics products are prohibited from attempting to re-identify individuals from any aggregated dataset. Synance retains full ownership of all analytics, insights, and derivative products created from Platform data.
Synance, Inc. is incorporated in Delaware, USA and operates globally. Your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we ensure that such transfers are made with appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
For US residents: your information may be processed in states other than your state of residence.
